Maintenance Depot Quality Manager

The Maintenance Depot Quality Manager is responsible for ensuring the effective implementation of quality requirements across all maintenance, inspection, and overhaul activities within the depot. The role focuses on operational quality control, adherence to defined procedures, and ensuring that maintenance outputs meet safety, reliability, and customer standards.

Key Responsibilities and Authority: 
▪ Ensure all maintenance, overhaul, and repair activities comply with approved procedures, work instructions, and quality standards.
▪ Oversee incoming, in-process, and final inspections of equipment/components. 
▪ Ensure calibration and proper use of inspection and measuring equipment. 
▪ Oversee special processes during Services (e.g., NDT, torque checks, functional testing) 
▪ Verify conformity of maintenance outputs before release for service 
▪ Identify, record, and manage non-conformities (NCRs) related to maintenance activities 
▪ Developing and implementing the Maintenance Quality Management Plan (MQMP) in line with contract requirements.
▪ Representing quality within the depot team and acting as the interface with customer. 
▪ Prepare and present: - Quality performance reports (KPIs, trends, defects). - Audit status and CAPA reports

Minimum Qualifications, Minimum Experience and Competency: 
▪ Bachelor’s Degree (mandatory) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production / Manufacturing Engineering.
▪ Preferred (advantage) Master’s degree (Engineering / Quality / Operations) 
▪ Min 12 years in Quality Assurance / Quality Control in Maintenance depots (Preferred), Manufacturing plants with Service exposure, Rolling stock / aviation / heavy equipment maintenance.
▪ At least 5+ years in a managerial role. 
▪ Strong ability to Interact with auditors, clients, and regulatory bodies 
▪ Team leadership and stakeholder management 
▪ Strong knowledge of 
   - Quality Management Systems (QMS – ISO 9001, IRIS, etc.) 
   - Maintenance processes and overhaul practices
▪ Hands on experience in Quality systems & audits 
▪ Expertise in Root cause analysis & continuous improvement
▪ Deep understanding and expertise related to Product Safety requirements
