Role Summary

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be the backbone of the machine shops operational integrity. Youll oversee and maintain critical machinery such as CNC, VMC, VTL and Plano Miller, ensuring maximum uptime and performance. This role requires hands-on expertise, strategic troubleshooting and proactive collaboration with production teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform regular maintenance and health checks on machine shop equipment
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues during manufacturing operations
• Collaborate with production teams to enhance equipment reliability
• Lead installation and commissioning of new machinery
• Maintain detailed logs of repairs, maintenance tasks and equipment inventory
• Coordinate with external vendors for parts procurement and service support
• Mentor junior staff and build technical capabilities within the team

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• 4 - 5 years of hands-on experience with machine shop equipment: CNC, VMC, VTL, Plano Miller etc.
• Proficiency in interpreting technical manuals and engineering blueprints
• Strong mechanical and electrical systems knowledge
• Skilled in using diagnostic and maintenance tools
• Excellent troubleshooting ability and communication skills
• Preference for candidates based in or near Bhilai
