Key responsibilities:

1. Plan, coordinate, and supervise granulation processes (wet granulation, dry granulation, high-shear mixing, fluid bed processing).


2. Ensure production targets are achieved in terms of quantity, quality, and timelines.


3. Monitor batch manufacturing activities in compliance with Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR)


4. Ensure adherence to cGMP, WHO, USFDA, MHRA, and other regulatory guidelines.


5. Review and approve SOPs related to granulation operations.


6. Coordinate with QA/QC for in-process checks and batch release requirements.


7. Handle deviations, CAPA, change control, and audit observations.


8. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance yield, reduce wastage, and improve cycle time.


9. Troubleshoot process-related issues and implement corrective measures.


10. Introduce new technologies and best practices to improve granulation efficiency.


11. Lead, train, and mentor granulation operators, supervisors, and technical staff.


12. Ensure proper manpower planning and shift management.


13. Promote a culture of safety, discipline, and continuous learning.


14. Ensure proper operation and maintenance of granulation equipment such as:




1. Rapid Mixer Granulator (RMG)


2. Fluid Bed Dryer (FBD)


3. Multi Mill / Co-mill




15. Coordinate preventive and breakdown maintenance with the engineering team.


16. Ensure equipment qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ) compliance.


17. Maintain accurate records of production activities, logbooks, and reports.


18. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.


19. Ensure strict data integrity (ALCOA principles).


20. Ensure adherence to EHS guidelines and safe working practices.


21. Conduct risk assessments, safety training, and incident investigations.


22. Maintain a cleanroom environment as per pharmaceutical standards.
