Marsh Corporate

Description:

Job Title: Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12 Functional Consultant — iExpense, Payables (AP) & Purchasing

Location: [Noida/Mumbai/Pune/Hybrid] Experience: 8–10 years Employment

Last Date to Apply: 19th June

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Oracle EBS R12 Functional Consultant with 8–10 years of hands‑on experience focused on Oracle iExpense, Accounts Payable (AP) and Purchasing modules. The ideal candidate will combine deep functional knowledge with strong implementation, configuration, support, and stakeholder engagement experience across the full project lifecycle — from requirements gathering and design through testing, cutover and hypercare.

We will count on you to:

  • Lead functional design, configuration and implementation activities for Oracle EBS R12 iExpense, AP and Purchasing modules.
  • Gather and analyze business requirements; translate them into system design, functional specifications, and configuration.
  • Configure setups: suppliers, payment methods, invoices, approval hierarchies, procurement business flows, iExpense policies and profiles.
  • Design and document business processes, solution flows, and detailed functional specifications for customizations, interfaces, extensions, and reports.
  • Support development teams by writing clear technical specs (PL/SQL, APIs, Open Interface formats) and validating builds.
  • Lead unit, integration and user acceptance testing (UAT); create test scripts and coordinate testing with business users.
  • Plan and execute data migrations, conversions and cutover activities for AP/Purchasing/iExpense data (suppliers, invoices, purchase orders, expense reports).
  • Provide production support, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis and remediation for functional and transactional issues.
  • Recommend process improvements and best practices to optimize Procure-to-Pay and Expense Management processes.
  • Deliver training, create end-user documentation, and conduct knowledge-transfer sessions.
  • Work with cross-functional teams (AR, GL, Tax, Treasury, IT/Integration, Security) to ensure end-to-end solution integrity.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, SOX requirements (if applicable), and company policies.

What you need to have:

  • 8–10 years of functional experience with Oracle E-Business Suite R12, with strong, demonstrable expertise in:
    • Oracle iExpense (implementation, configurations, workflows, policy setup)
    • Oracle Payables (invoicing, payments, supplier management, invoice matching, hold/release)
    • Oracle Purchasing (PO creation, approvals, requisitions, receiving, match rules)
  • Experience across full project lifecycle: requirements, fit-gap analysis, configuration, testing, cutover and support.
  • Hands-on experience creating functional specifications for interfaces (APIs, flat files), concurrent programs, and reports.
  • Strong knowledge of Procure-to-Pay business processes and best practices.
  • Experience with setup/configuration of approval workflows, Oracle Approvals Management (AME/ADM), and user roles.
  • Experience with data migration and reconciliation activities between legacy systems and Oracle EBS.
  • Demonstrable ability to troubleshoot functional issues and collaborate with technical teams to deliver fixes.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication and documentation skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field (or equivalent experience).

What makes you stand out?

  • Experience integrating EBS with third-party procurement/expense tools or card providers (e.g.corporate card integration).
  • Exposure to Oracle R12 Tax, GL and AP/PO interfacing for end-to-end financial flows.
  • Knowledge of Oracle Workflow, Oracle Security (responsibilities/profiles), and Oracle Forms/Reports.
  • Experience with Fusion/Cloud migration projects or hybrid environments.
  • Professional certifications in Oracle EBS or related domains.

Behavioral & Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to lead workshops and facilitate requirements gathering with business stakeholders.
  • Comfortable in client-facing roles and capable of influencing at senior levels.
  • Highly organized, able to manage priorities across multiple workstreams and meet deadlines
