Key responsibilities:
- Installation, Configuration, and Maintenance: Set up and maintain various broadcast IT systems and equipment, such as servers, switches, routers, encoding devices, playout systems, and monitoring tools.
- Troubleshooting and Technical Support: Identify and resolve technical issues related to broadcast IT systems, encompassing hardware, software, and network infrastructure, to ensure seamless broadcasting operations.
- Hands-On Expertise: Utilize hands-on experience with Video Editing systems, VizRT, Unreal, Offline Graphics systems (Adobe), and Avid Infra that contributes to multimedia content creation and management.
- Television Workflow and Transmission Understanding: Demonstrate a clear understanding of Television Workflow, Transmission (Tx) chain, and PCR-Studio workflow to support efficient broadcasting processes.
- Video Standards and Formats: Apply your knowledge of Video Standards (PAL / NTSC) and Video & Audio Formats (SD / HD / UHD) for optimal content quality and compatibility.
- Ingest and Feed Room Management: Manage Ingest & Feed room operations, including Contribution links, ensuring smooth content acquisition and distribution.
- Documentation and SOPs: Maintain accurate documentation, including system diagrams, configurations, and standard operating procedures, ensuring organized and standardized processes.
- Quick Troubleshooting: Utilize your quick troubleshooting skills to address technical challenges promptly and minimize downtime.
- Rotational Shift Availability: Be available for 24x7 rotational shifts to ensure uninterrupted broadcasting operations.
- Emerging Broadcast Technology: Possess knowledge regarding new emerging Broadcast Technologies to stay updated with industry trends and advancements.
- Teleprompter Understanding: Demonstrate a working understanding of Teleprompter systems to enhance on-air presentations.
- Media Asset Management: Apply your knowledge of Media Asset Management to efficiently organize and access multimedia content.
- Video Playout Automation: Familiarity with Video Playout Automation (HARRIS ADC, iTX, etc.) to optimize scheduling and delivery of broadcasted content.
- Compression Chain and Streaming: Basic knowledge of Tx Compression chain (Encoders / Decoders) & Video Streaming services to ensure content quality during transmission.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate a high level of communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively within the broadcasting team.

Preferred education and experience:
- 5–8 years of relevant experience with a strong technical educational background is required.
