Market Research

Conduct market research and identify emerging sectors, businesses, technologies, and investment opportunities aligned with the organization’s strategic priorities and

growth areas.

• Opportunity Identification:

Relevant and high-potential investment opportunities identified and documented through market research. ·

• Market Intelligence:

Market scans, sector studies, and opportunity assessments completed to identify emerging investment themes and trends.

Investments Evaluation

Assess and evaluate potential investment

opportunities by analysing market

attractiveness, business potential,

financial viability, risks, and strategic

fit with the organization’s objectives.

• Evaluate investment proposals from external and internal sources:

• Coordinate with various internal and external stakeholders.


• Develop detailed financial models, analytics, including revenue projections, valuation analysis (pre-money & post-money, comparable valuations), and ROI analysis (IRR, NPV, Payback Period).


• Executability of opportunities.


• Conduct thorough risk assessments and mitigations thereof.


• Alignment with the overall GMR strategy.


• Conduct other analysis as required.


• Suggest improvements in the proposals.


• Submit a comprehensive report and present to the decision makers across the GMR ecosystem.

• Follow the internal framework for evaluating opportunities and suggest improvisations therein.


• Follow the established best practices and create new ones.


• Take initiatives to strengthen the function and the organization.

New Business Incubation

Identify, develop, and support new business ideas and opportunities from concept to early-stage validation, assessing their potential for scalability, commercial viability, and strategic alignment with the organization’s growth objectives.

• Assist with creating detailed project-cum-execution plans across various business streams with special focus on; but not limited to the financial aspects.


• Determine initial funding requirements, analyze the optimal use of funds, and assess different types of funding (equity vs. debt).


• Develop detailed financial models, analytics, including revenue projections, valuation analysis (pre-money & post-money, comparable valuations), and ROI analysis (IRR, NPV, Payback Period).


• Conduct thorough risk assessments for new business ventures and develop mitigation plans to minimize potential risks.


• Take initiatives and full ownership of assigned areas of responsibility across projects and functions.


• Coordinate with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and alignment.


• Set and manage project budgets, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and ensure cost-effective resource allocation.


• Ensure timely completion of the projects and regular management reporting.
