Description
  • Enhancing Regional Terminal Network, Development of circuits / corridors and Deployment of rakes to meet volume and financial targets and future growth strategy.

    • Market Mapping 

    • Addition of New CRTS / PFTs / GCTs etc in the region.

    • New routes / new commodity mix

 

  • Commercial control & Business Performance of the region to ensure that our products are commercially competitive and continuous cost optimization to ensure profitability.

    • Performance Management

    • Business Forecasting & SOP implementation

    • Budgeting, and Data-Driven Decision Support

    • Continues improvement on locational advantage of new

    • Regular oversee and ensure no leakage

    • Regular feedback on our pricing and opportunity to increase topline.

    • Reporting, and MIS

 

  • Business development initiatives 

    • identification of locations for new terminal as PFT, CGT and 

    • Any regional opportunities by any regulator / authority 

    • Track all cargo movement in the region through multiple modes like rail, road, costal and multimodal.

       

  • Marketing & Product Digitalization

    • Marketing Campaigns in association with central marketing team

    • Management of Events and Follow-ups

    • Digitization initiates for business and its coordination.

       

       

  • Relationship management with regional stakeholders like ports, railways, PFT operators, handling agency.

 

  • Regular business connects with key existing & potential customers to understand business needs.

 

  • Develop Capabilities to drive conversion from Road to Rail, by innovation / Simplification and cost-effective End to End solutions

 

  • Work closely with sales to move mapped customers from qualifying to trading 

 

  • Identifying new customer base, Creating leads and Starting New business in the region and ensure that same is carried on by sales team with periodic review with select customers.

 

  • Stake holder Management to drive the policy and other regulatory changes for the assigned geographies with Railways / Ports / MIDC / Transport associations / Municipal Corporations / Shipping Lines

  • Keep a close watch on competition action in the marketplace and track, record competition volumes / actions in due compliance with governing competition norms and regulations 

  • Build capabilities to develop new revenue streams and products like Cross Country Rail, Mixed Trains, Tanks, DWARF and Specialized containers/ rakes. Or Design products and offerings which attract and drive Road to Rail conversion, Through Innovation / Simplified End to End solutions.
