Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced corporate Fundraising Manager with excellent leadership skills and networking abilities to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong entrepreneurial mindset, a passion for sales, and a deep commitment to change the lives of youth and women through education, vocational training, entrepreneurship and livelihood initiatives. You should be well organized, proactive, and have the ability to inspire those around you.

The candidate will cover the whole spectrum of fundraising duties and needs to think strategically and work operationally. They will need to be confident in representing the organisation externally and coordinate relationships as required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research, corporations, individuals and foundations that are interested in spending CSR budgets on interventions related to education and training leading towards employment and self-employment opportunities.
  Review organisational strengths, looking at opportunities to further develop our fundraising strategy

• Effectively convey the organizations mission, vision, and programs to potential donors.

• Provide training and advice on fundraising across the whole organisation

• Write grant applications and fundraising proposals

• Strategize and successfully execute fundraising campaigns and participate and strategize in the implement process.

• Manage a budget and track whether goals are being met.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in social studies, journalism, public relations, fundraising, marketing or similar area.

• Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to motivate and inspire, innovate for offline and online sales to increase revenues, adept at problem-solving and critical thinking.

• Attributes: Must have a passion for social change, a patient and empathetic approach and an entrepreneurial spirit that thrives in dynamic, changing environments.
