Manager - Costing

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

• Should costing expertise in Electrical & Electronics components (power electronics, wiring harness, proprietary E/E parts)


• Maintain detailed cost structures (BOM breakdowns, raw material indexing, should-cost models, variance vs target/actual)


• Manage change control costing and assess impact on part, system, and vehicle cost


• Work with cross-functional teams to estimate BOM cost for new parts/concepts, assemblies, and redesigns


• Benchmark competition and provide cost optimization inputs to design teams


• Perform profitability analysis and support make vs buy decisions


• Own monthly material cost reporting at vehicle and system level
