Job Purpose

· To ensure steady & timely completion of drawings of equipments.
· To prepare Piping layouts, Piping assignments.
· To prepare Piping drawigns in 3D, and generate assembly and detail drawings
· To prepare bill of materials for piping assemblies & sub-assemblies , isometric
outputs

2. Key Result Area

· Timely completion of drawings
· Drawings and BOMs made with very less or no errors.
· Self Development

3. Key Responsibilities

· Planning of work according to the requirement.
· Timely completion of assignments.
· Prepare the piping Layouts using the available inputs.
· Identification of critical problems and work out with specified time frames
· Ensuring errorless drawing generation.
· Coordinate with the team for relevant inputs in generation of layouts / drawings.

Miscellaneous

· Ensures compliance to quality, safety & environmental standards as per ISO 9001,
14001, 18001

4. Qualification and Experience

The candidate should be a
· Bachelors / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a reputed Institute, minimum 5
years of experience, in engineering / project / process / heavy engineering industry
· Must have hands on experience in Plant 3D and its features.
· Auto CAD 2D & 3D, Inventor drawings are added qualification.
· Good exposure to piping layouts, especially of the continuous furnaces

Technical Competencies

· Thorough knowledge of drawings, drafting standards and engineering standards.
· Good understanding of PMS, various piping standards.
· Good knowledge of equipment related to Mechanical/Chemical.
· Working knowledge in Plant 3D.
· Good understanding of hand-sketches, views and equipment drawings.

6. Other Competencies
· Good in Communication, Fluency in English.
