Job Description - Manager - Entertainment Ad Sales, Digital, LCS

* Job Summary

This role focuses on achieving revenue and growth targets for advertisers in the assigned category. As a Manager you will be part of a team of front liners, while building strong relationships with advertisers and agencies, and delivers customized solutions across JioStar extensive Digital platforms. The role also expands JioStar client base and strengthens its position as the go-to partner for innovative advertising solutions.

* Key Responsibilities

  • This is an individual contributor role where you will own the revenue targets for key accounts within the Entertainment Business in a specific industry . The focus will be on maximizing revenue potential and positioning JioStar.
  • You will be Jiostar’s ambassador in the market for the accounts you own.
  • You will be expected to understand India’s Digital ecosystem, stay abreast with industry trends and innovations along with establishing and demonstrating an understanding of JioStar’s ad solutions and capabilities
  • You will be expected to maintain a healthy sales pipeline on a regular basis; be proactive in highlighting any roadblocks and maintain high standards in sales processes
  • You will be expected to manage all stakeholder relationships end to end with minimum supervision
  • You will also be focusing on deeper client interactions to drive case studies, client interviews, executing joint business plans & maintaining monthly run rates etc.
  • You will work closely with the cross functional ads revenue team for the conceptualization & execution of all deals for your accounts

* Skills & Attributes for success

  • Strong experience in digital media sales, OTT sales, Adtech , branded content, or integrated marketing solutions.
  • Deep understanding of how brands plan and execute advertising campaigns across different stages of the marketing funnel.
  • Ability to translate brand objectives into customized media and content solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of key categories such as E-commerce, FMCG, Auto, BFSI, Retail, Lifestyle, Tech, and D2C brands.
  • Excellent storytelling and presentation skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with a consultative selling approach rather than pure inventory selling.
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple stakeholders.

* Preferred Education & Experience

  • Preferably Bachelor’s degree with 4-6 years in a fast-paced industry; with solid understanding of Digital landscape.
  • Someone who is comfortable operating independently, building from the ground up, and navigating a market that requires education as much as selling.
