Role Overview:
We are looking for a Manager Finance & Accounts professional to lead day -to -day finance and
accounting operations. The role requires strong ownership, people management skills, and
hands -on experience in accounting, finance reporting, GST compliance, and audit coordination.
The candidate should be capable of validating financial data, coordinating with internal and
external stakeholders, and driving timely closures with strong follow -up and accountability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage end -to -end accounting operations including GL, AP/AR, reconciliations, and
month -end/year -end closures
• Ensure accurate accounting entries and compliance with internal financial controls
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities
• Handle GST filings (GSTR -1, GSTR -3B, reconciliations, etc.)
• Ensure timely compliance with statutory requirements and maintain required
documentation
• Coordinate with consultants / external parties for tax matters when required
• Manage and coordinate external audits
• Validate financial data, ensure audit readiness, and provide accurate documentation
• Liaise with auditors, consultants, and internal teams for smooth audit completion
• Connect with relevant internal and external stakeholders (vendors, auditors,
consultants, banks, etc.)
• Ensure clear communication and closure of finance -related dependencies
• Manage and guide a team (accounts executives / analysts)
• Drive performance, task allocation, review work quality, and ensure adherence to
timelines
Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• 4+ years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounting
• Hands -on knowledge of GST filing and compliance
• Experience handling external audits and related documentation
• Strong ability to validate financial data and ensure accuracy
• Strong follow -up, ownership, and accountability
• Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders
• Experience in managing / mentoring a team is required
Preferred Qualification:
• Prior experience in a fast -paced environment (startup / growth -stage / high volume
operations)
• Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, MIS reporting, and variance analysis
• Knowledge of TDS / Income Tax compliance
• Experience working with ERPs/accounting tools (Tally, SAP, Oracle, Zoho, etc.)
• CA / CMA / MBA Finance is a plus (not mandatory)
Education:
• CA (Preferred but Mandatory)
• B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance or equivalent qualification preferred
