Manager - Finance & Accounts

Responsibilities

1) Accounts & Reporting
Ensuring compliance to Indian GAAP. Responsible for monthly/yearly closing and finalization.
Maintaining books of accounts in compliance with Indian Accounting standards and policies and procedures of the Company.
Providing appropriate reports, explanations and information to Statutory Auditors, ensuring smooth completion of Statutory Audits.
Competence with respect to Financial Analysis. Ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting as required. Should be proficient in using Excel and other analytical tools.

2) Compliance & Tax Audits

Ensuring compliance and adherence of various fiscal laws, statutes, enactments, and guidelines prevalent in India for Direct Taxes - Income tax, TDS, DTAA, Transfer Pricing).
Compliance of Service tax - including filing of returns, attending audits & assessments.
Sound knowledge of Indian commercial laws, procedures and Indian regulatory environment.
Handling Service tax & Income Tax audits.
Attending hearings with authorities as and when required.

Skills and Qualifications

CA with 2-4 Years post qualification Experience or B Com with 6-8 years of relevant experience.
Proficient in Accounts and Tax
Knowledge of QuickBooks is must
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, High Energy Level & Passion for Finance
