Job Description - Manager - International Sales

Key Responsibilities:

1. Market Research and Strategy:

- Conduct thorough market research to identify potential markets and assess the demand for electrical items in different Africa regions.

- Develop and implement effective market entry and expansion strategies.

- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes.

2. Business Development:

- Identify and engage with potential clients, distributors, and partners in the Africa market.

- Build and maintain strong relationships to drive sales and ensure customer satisfaction.

- Negotiate and close deals that align with the company's goals and objectives.

3. Sales Planning and Execution:

- Develop annual sales plans, including sales targets and growth projections for the Africa market.

- Implement sales initiatives, promotional activities, and product launches to boost market presence.

- Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective sales materials and campaigns.

4. Travel Management:

- Plan and coordinate extensive travel schedules, ensuring efficient use of time during visits to Africa markets.

- Spend 6 to 9 months per year traveling to various promising markets, with each trip lasting 2-3 months.

5. Reporting and Analysis:

- Provide regular reports on market performance, sales achievements, and challenges.

- Analyze data to identify opportunities for improvement and implement corrective measures as needed.

6. Targets:

- Consistently working to achieve sales target, revenue collection .

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's /Masters degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

- Proven experience in international sales, preferably in the electrical industry.

- Strong understanding of electrical items such as switchgear, panels, transformers, cables, and voltage regulators.

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-cultural environment.

- Willingness to travel extensively and spend significant time in Africa markets.

- Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional Africa languages is a plus.
