The IT Manager Network will lead our Network Operations Center in India. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in leading and managing network Operations & engineering teams within a large-scale organization. They should demonstrate the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including network engineers and other technical groups, while managing global network operations. The candidate must be comfortable supporting distributed systems that integrate with multiple services and thrive in a collaborative, agile environment. A strong willingness to learn and adapt is essential. Additionally, the candidate should provide clear direction and structure for their teams, mentor engineers to foster growth, and lead performance calibration processes to ensure excellence across the organization. Build and develop a team of highly skilled network operations and network engineering professionals Maintain operational health and high availability of network infrastructure to meet business objectives and ensure customer satisfaction. Ensure adequate coverage to meet business needs and Service Level Agreements (SLAs), delivering excellence in customer service. Define, implement, and continuously improve NOC and network engineering procedures, standards, and policies in alignment with best practices and SLAs. Establish and refine incident and problem management processes, including triage, analysis, response, resolution, escalation, and communication. Implement robust change control processes for all production environment changes. Collaborate with engineering teams and business stakeholders on technology deployments, upgrades, and maintenance activities. Develop and maintain a performance measurement framework for the NOC and engineering teams, focusing on technical and communication skills. Monitor and analyze capacity reports and performance metrics such as service availability, ticket volume, resolution rates, response times, and customer feedback. Identify trends, process improvement opportunities, and training needs; take proactive measures to enhance performance. Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement by encouraging new ideas and solutions. Participate in ongoing professional development and continuous learning initiatives. 10+ years of experience managing and operating large-scale, highly available production network environments. 4+ years of experience in leading and managing technical teams, combined with hands-on expertise in network operations. Proven experience in technical leadership and team management. Expertise in hiring, onboarding, and performance management of engineers. Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills. Ability to build strong relationships and network throughout the broader IT community. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for a wide range of audiences including executives, business stakeholders and IT teams. Prior experience with large-scale Enterprise network infrastructure and data center operations Strong understanding of reliability principles, SLIs/SLOs/SLAs, and error budgets. Incident response and postmortem practices aligned with SRE best practices. Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical field experience/certification Certification in network and/or security technologies (e.g., CCIE, CCNP, CISSP etc.)
