Manager - Learning and Development

Job Summary:

The Manager – Learning & Development at CHOICe will be instrumental in shaping and executing internal, external, and regulatory learning and development programs. Reporting to the VP – Talent Management & Learning, this role will actively implement talent management and L&D strategies, ensuring alignment with both short -term and long -term business goals. The successful candidate will liaise with business leaders, HR, and regional offices to translate functional needs into actionable learning plans, drive key organizational development (OD) initiatives, and leverage technological platforms for blended learning. The role will also involve creating enabling tools for development, mentoring, and coaching to build a skilled, multi -dimensional workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

• Learning & Development Strategy:
  

  • Develop and execute comprehensive learning and development programs for internal, external, and regulatory needs.
    
  • Implement talent management and L&D strategies in alignment with CHOICe’s business objectives and regulatory requirements.
    
  • Translate business and functional needs into executable Learning Plans, coordinating with business leaders, HR, and regional offices.
    

• Organizational Development & Blended Learning:
  

  • Drive key OD initiatives that align with short -term goals and long -term business strategies.
    
  • Support the technological platform for leveraging internal and external technical resources to drive blended learning across CHOICe.
    
  • Create and implement tools for development in line with current HR processes and strategies, including mentoring exercises and coaching programs for mid -level to junior employees.
    

• Internal Consulting & Cultural Impact:
  

  • Operate as an internal consultant, engaging with all areas of the organization to positively impact overall organizational development and foster a culture of intuitive and open learning.
    
  • Facilitate the creation of a mature, multi -skilled workforce to meet current and future business needs.
    

• Transactional Activities:
  

  • Manage the end -to -end implementation of learning interventions, integrating technology and experiential learning methods.
    
  • Facilitate the design, development, and delivery of learning programs through service providers.
    
  • Liaise with learning partners to deliver OD initiatives and leadership forums at all levels.
    
  • Work with business leaders to ensure cyclical follow -ups on Individual Development Plans (IDPs).
    
  • Track and assess the qualitative progress of the trained workforce to ensure effectiveness and alignment with business goals.
    

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or a specialization course in
  the requisite filed.
  
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Learning & Development, with a focus on the life insurance industry or financial services.
