Manager - Manufacturing Engineering

We are looking for an innovative and people-focused Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead our aerospace manufacturing engineering function. This is a leadership role for someone passionate about advanced manufacturing, operational excellence, and building high-performing engineering teams.

You will play a critical role in scaling manufacturing capability, introducing advanced technologies, and ensuring world-class quality and operational performance across aerospace programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and inspire a team of manufacturing engineers, driving technical excellence and team growth.


• Develop and execute strategies to improve manufacturing performance, efficiency, and scalability.


• Collaborate closely with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and R&D teams to achieve operational goals.


• Introduce innovative manufacturing technologies and automation to enhance productivity.


• Provide expert support for complex engineering challenges and continuous process improvement.


• Oversee manufacturing tooling, equipment design, and implementation.


• Ensure compliance with aerospace standards, safety regulations, and quality systems.


• Manage engineering budgets, cost optimization initiatives, and resource planning.


• Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives across operations.


• Participate in the selection and qualification of suppliers for manufacturing processes.


• Collaborate with R&D to ensure smooth transition of new products into manufacturing.


• Present performance insights, KPIs, and improvement plans to senior leadership.


• Mentor and develop engineering talent to build a strong future-ready team.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Master's degree preferred).


• 12+ years of manufacturing engineering experience with leadership experience in aerospace manufacturing.


• Strong expertise in machining, assembly, composites, and additive manufacturing.


• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.


• Solid understanding of aerospace standards such as AS9100 and NADCAP.


• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.


• Proficiency in CAD/CAM and advanced manufacturing tools.


• Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.


• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.


• Project management experience with strong focus on delivery and cost control.
