Job Title: Defense EMS SMT Marketing Manager

Job Summary: The Defense EMS SMT Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies for the defense sector, focusing on Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) and Surface-Mount Technology (SMT). This role requires a deep understanding of the defense industry's requirements and trends, along with expertise in EMS and SMT processes. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive business growth, enhance brand presence, and establish strong relationships with key stakeholders in the defense market.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Market Analysis and Strategy Development:
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape within the defense sector.
- Develop comprehensive marketing strategies and campaigns tailored to the defense EMS SMT market.
- Identify target segments and create value propositions that align with their specific requirements.
2. Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the defense sector.
- Build and maintain relationships with key defense contractors, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement strategies for lead generation and conversion.
3. Product Positioning and Messaging:
- Develop and refine product positioning, messaging, and branding for EMS and SMT services targeted at the defense industry.
- Create compelling marketing collateral, including brochures, presentations, case studies, and white papers.
- Ensure all marketing materials are aligned with the company's brand guidelines and industry regulations.
4. Industry Engagement and Networking:
- Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and events to promote EMS SMT services.
- Participate in relevant industry forums, associations, and working groups to stay updated on trends and establish thought leadership.
- Develop and deliver presentations and webinars to educate potential clients about the company's capabilities and solutions.
5. Collaboration and Reporting:
- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, engineering, and product development, to align marketing efforts with business objectives.
- Provide regular reports on marketing activities, performance metrics, and market insights to senior management.
- Develop and manage the marketing budget for the defense EMS SMT segment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of marketing experience in the EMS or SMT industry, with a focus on the defense sector.
- Strong understanding of defense industry standards, regulations, and procurement processes.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze market data and derive actionable insights.
- Strong project management skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to travel as needed for business purposes.
