ID:\n\nJR113244 Manager, Mod SSD Assembly Equipment\n\nOur vision is to transform how the world uses information to enrich life for all.\n\nMicron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever.\n\nJob Responsibilities:\n\nImprove the key performance indices to BIC\n\n\u00b7 Ensure tool performance and availability to the capacity model\n\n\u00b7 Establish and control processes thru SPC/ FD methodology; ensure CpK \u003e2.0 on cSPL indices\n\n\u00b7 Improve product yield for assembly processes\n\nEnsure the production equipment is in control and quality/reliability of product meets expectation\n\n\u00b7 Implement Preventive / Predictive maintenance program\n\n\u00b7 Establish team(s) to work on continuous improvement\n\n\u00b7 Establish indirect spare inventory system for key equipment\n\nReduce cost through continuous cost reduction effort\n\n\u00b7 Identify the key cost drivers and work on cost reduction programs\n\n\u00b7 Implement productivity Improvement programs\n\n\u00b7 Monitor spare cost and drive down liabilities of spare inventories\n\nDefine and develop capabilities, strategy and roadmap\n\n\u00b7 Maintain a matrix on equipment capabilities and constraints\n\n\u00b7 Leverage material and equipment suppliers to roadmap\n\n\u00b7 Regularly conduct benchmarking exercise\n\nDevelop People to enable Center of Excellence model\n\nRequirements:\n\n\u00b7 Bachelors degree in Engineering, preferred mechanical, material, electrical \u0026 electronics engineering\n\n\u00b7 Minimum 8 years of working experience in PCB assembly engineering industry\n\n\u00b7 Strong leadership skills and adept communication ability\n\n\u00b7 Excellent problem solving skills and strong analytical abilities\n\n\u00b7 Leveraging Artificial Intelligence \u0026 Applying Artificial Intelligence\n\n\u00b7 High degree of self initiative and ability to think and act independently\n\n\u00b7 Possess ability to work under tight timeframes and prioritize competing activities\n\n\u00b7 High degree of self-initiative and ability to think and act independently\n\nJob Profile(s):\n\nEquipment Engineering Manager 1\n\nRelocation level: (TBD)\n\nBefore Getting Started \nPlease review Micron\u2019s Internal Job Application Policy on your regional PeopleNow Career Opportunities page before searching and applying for jobs.
