Job Summary
JioStar is India’s leading sports broadcaster, delivering world-class coverage of major sporting events including the IPL, ICC tournaments, Premier League, Pro Kabaddi and Wimbledon across multiple regional languages. With a mission to foster a multisport culture in India, JioStar partners with key stakeholders to popularize sports beyond cricket. We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our Partnerships team to manage and expand partnerships across production houses, franchises, fan communities, influencers, music labels and talent agencies while driving strategic collaborations that power the next phase of JioStar’s growth.
Key Responsibilities
Partnership Management: Build, nurture, and grow relationships with film production houses, franchisees, fan armies, influencers, talent agencies, sport bodies, and music labels to strengthen brand presence and drive value.
Strategic Negotiations: Lead end-to-end partnership cycles — from developing business cases and creating impactful pitch decks to negotiating terms and closing contracts.
Business Development: Proactively identify and secure new opportunities that align with Star Sports’ and JioHotstar’s long-term vision, driving sustained growth and innovation.
Cross-Functional Coordination and Execution: Collaborate with marketing, content, sales, and operations teams across JioStar to ensure smooth integration of partnerships into campaigns and initiatives.
Performance & Growth: Define clear KPIs, monitor outcomes, and optimize partnership performance to deliver ROI, long-term brand equity, and measurable impact.
Performance Measures
Growth in number of partners year-on-year (YOY)
Increase in earned media YOY through partnerships and collaborations
Effective management and conversion of existing partner relationships
Collaboration, execution and stakeholder management (internal & external)
Innovation and problem solving
Qualifications
MBA graduates will be preferred
5 to 7 years of experience with key interest in digital ecosystem and in-depth understanding of the sports industry, including key players, market dynamics, and emerging trends
The candidate needs to have deep knowledge of creating impactful presentations along with familiarity in spreadsheets
