Position Title: Manager – Plant HR
Position Overview: The position is responsible for leading and managing all HR and Industrial Relations activities at the Daman plant. This role requires a strategic HR leader who can effectively balance HR functions, including employee relations and talent management, with Industrial Relations responsibilities. This position will work closely with Director plant, plant leadership and HR Director to drive HR initiatives, Talent Development, People Development, Succession Readiness, foster a positive work environment, and ensure compliance with labour laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Human Resources Management:
Strategic HR Leadership:
Develop and execute HR strategies that support the plant’s operational goals and business objectives
Partner with Director – Plant, plant leadership and Director HR to drive organizational change, manage HR projects, and support strategic initiatives
Talent Acquisition, Retention & Development:
Ensure Recruitment processes to attract and retain top talent
Implement employee development programs and succession planning
Manage performance appraisal processes and provide support for performance improvement.
Employee Relations:
Act as the primary point of contact for employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, grievances, and disciplinary actions
Promote a positive work environment and enhance employee engagement and retention.
Compliance & Administration:
Ensure adherence to labor laws, Plants HR Audits and company policies
Manage health and safety programs
Oversee contract HR administration including contractual, temporary manpower services and functions including payroll, benefits administration, and employee record management
Monitoring the overall functioning of the Canteen Services, Security and other Welfare facilities provided to the employees.
Industrial Relations Management:
Develop and implement industrial relations strategies that align with the plant’s objectives
Address and resolve industrial disputes and other labor-related issues
Ensure compliance with local state labor laws and regulations
Monitor changes in labor legislation and industry practices to ensure the plant remains compliant.
Change Management:
Lead and support change management initiatives related to organizational restructuring, process improvements, and other strategic changes impacting labor relations.

Strong Statutory Compliance knowledge
Strong in IR handling
Good in communication skills including local language Hindi and Gujrati
Ability to resolve employee issues
Good in MS office.
Education & Experience:
Post Graduate degree in Human Resources or Labour Law
8 to 12 yrs. of experience in handling Plant HR responsibilities
Skills:
Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and industrial relations
Proven experience in handling complex HR and IR issues
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to lead and develop teams, manage conflicts, and drive changes.
