JOB DESCRIPTION:

1. Process Equipment Maintenance & Reliability

• Responsible for maintenance of OSD process equipment such as granulators, blenders, fluid bed dryers, compression machines, coaters, and packing machines.


• Ensure equipment availability with minimal downtime.

2. Preventive & Breakdown Maintenance

• Execute preventive maintenance as per schedule.


• Handle breakdown maintenance and ensure quick restoration.


• Analyze recurring failures and implement corrective actions.

3. Calibration & Instrumentation

• Ensure calibration of process instruments (temperature, RH, pressure, load cells, etc.).


• Maintain accuracy of critical instruments.

4. Equipment Qualification & Validation Support

• Support IQ/OQ/PQ activities.


• Ensure equipment operates within validated parameters.

5. HVAC & Utility Coordination

• Coordinate with utility team for HVAC control (temperature, humidity, differential pressure).

6. SOP Compliance & Documentation

• Prepare, review, and revise maintenance SOPs.


• Ensure compliance with cGMP and maintain records in QMS systems.

7. Deviation, CAPA & Change Control

• Investigate deviations and implement CAPA.


• Support change control activities.

8. Equipment Optimization: Improve machine efficiency and minimize breakdowns.


9. Team Management & Training: Maintain discipline and provide training to maintenance staff.


10. Contractor Management: Ensure contractors are trained and comply with GMP and safety.


11. Resource Planning: Ensure availability of spares, tools, and manpower.


12. Energy & Cost Optimization: Support energy-saving initiatives and monitor usage.


13. Safety & Risk Management: Identify risks and ensure safe practices.


14. Audit & Compliance: Support regulatory audits and ensure audit readiness.


15. Continuous Improvement: Drive TPM, Lean Maintenance, and reliability improvements.
