Role Overview:
GCS is JioStar’s growth engine focused on acquiring and scaling new and mid-market advertisers across digital and cross-screen platforms. The team drives incremental revenue through structured GTM, outcome-led selling, and platform solutioning across Mobile, CTV and omnichannel formats. GCS combines commercial ownership with data, measurement, and ad-tech enablement- making it a high-impact, growth-oriented mandate within JioStar’s revenue architecture.
This Pricing & Packaging role within the Product & Revenue Strategy (PRS) vertical drives JioStar’s GCS monetization strategy by designing smart, data-led pricing frameworks and packages. Partnering with cross-functional teams, they balance market competitiveness with revenue goals, ensuring every ad format and property is priced for maximum impact and long-term growth. About Us
Key Responsibilities:
Own the design and execution of standardized pricing packages in close collaboration with cross-functional teams including Supply, Legal, Media Rights, AdTech, and Product.
Craft forward-looking pricing strategies, tactical schemes, and offer constructs that unlock competitive advantage and support aggressive revenue targets.
Drive alignment with key media agencies through structured incentive plans, pricing governance, revenue maximization initiatives, and trade promotions.
Lead pricing for new and emerging ad formats while evaluating their impact on Sell Through Rate (STR), ensuring long-term monetization success.
End-to-end ownership of revenue planning, rate card management, discounting frameworks, and agency-specific pricing structures.
Leverage analytics and performance insights to shape pricing decisions, assess trade-offs, and drive optimization across deals and packages.
Act as a central hub, coordinating closely with Product, Ad Ops, Brand Solutions, and Content teams to align pricing with product innovation and sales strategy.
Skills and Attributes for Success:
Structured problem solver - ability to develop solutions in an ambiguous environment
Strong in analytics with a high comfort around numbers
Should have worked in inter team and intra team collaborative roles with an ability to manage various stakeholders
Strong flair and keen interest in Advertising, Media, and Sports
Preferred Education and Experience:
MBA with 4 to 6 years of strategy consulting experience will be preferred.
Candidates from Management consulting/ Market strategy/Business strategy/Ad Sales Strategy/GTM background.
