Job Description - Manager - Program Management, College Operations

Work Timings: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Flexible shift when working from Andheri)

Working Days: Monday to Friday (1st & 3rd Saturdays working)

Work Mode: 100% On -site

Location: Designated Partner Colleges & IIDE Andheri Campus

About the Role:

As the Manager – College Operations & Student Success at Mumbai, you will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence, academic outcomes, and student success across a portfolio of designated partner colleges. This leadership role involves overseeing portfolio performance, managing cross -functional coordination, strengthening institutional partnerships, and ensuring seamless academic and operational delivery while maintaining high standards of student experience and brand representation. You will lead and develop on -ground teams, collaborate with internal stakeholders, and drive measurable impact across academic quality, examinations, placements support, and portfolio growth.

What You’ll Do:

â Portfolio Performance & Outcome Accountability:

â Own end -to -end performance across assigned colleges covering academics, examinations, student success, placements support, and operations.

â Set and govern benchmarks for pass rates, retention, engagement, placement readiness, and student satisfaction.

â Use portfolio -level data to identify trends, risks, and systemic gaps, driving corrective interventions through teams.

â Ensure consistency in program standards, student experience, and brand representation across colleges.

â Report portfolio health to senior leadership with structured insights, accuracy, and clear recommendations.

â Leadership, Talent Strategy & Accountability:

â Lead, coach, and develop on -ground college teams with clear accountability for outcomes.

â Define performance expectations, role ownership, and growth pathways.

â Conduct regular performance reviews, feedback conversations, and capability -building discussions.

â Identify skill gaps and drive targeted training, coaching, or role realignment.

â Hire and onboard team members as the portfolio scales, ensuring readiness and cultural alignment.

â Create, refine, and enforce SOPs and operating rhythms to drive consistency, accountability, and scalability across college operations.

â Institutional Partnerships & Portfolio Growth:

â Own senior -level relationships with Principals, HODs, Deans, and administrative leadership.

â Lead structured review conversations on academic outcomes, examination performance, student success, and partnership health.

â Represent IIDE in high -stakes discussions, ensuring trust, accountability, and long -term alignment.

â Identify opportunities for portfolio expansion, new batches, and program growth.

â Collaborate with admissions, marketing, academic, and placements teams to support growth across assigned colleges.

â Academic Quality, Examinations & Student Success:

â Govern academic quality across colleges including trainer effectiveness, content delivery, and batch performance.

â Own examination readiness and outcome governance, ensuring timely planning, coordination, compliance, and smooth execution.

â Review academic, examination, and student success data to identify quality risks and preparedness gaps.

â Ensure timely interventions for at -risk students, batches, or colleges.

â Champion a strong student success culture through engagement, industry exposure, and community initiatives.

â Placements Enablement & Outcome Support:

â Partner with central placements and career services teams to support placement readiness across colleges.

â Ensure academic alignment, engagement initiatives, and operational coordination to enable strong placement outcomes.

â Track and review placement -related metrics at a portfolio level including readiness, participation, and outcomes.

â Work with college leadership to resolve structural or operational barriers impacting placement outcomes.

â Act as the college -facing escalation and governance owner for placement -related challenges.

â Additional Duties:

â Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives across partner college operations.

â Ensure alignment between internal teams and partner colleges for seamless program execution and student success.

â Perform any other reasonable duties as requested by management, aligned with the broad scope of the position.

Who You Are:

â Must -Have:

â 8–12 years of experience in education operations, academic programs, student success, or related domains.

â Proven experience managing multiple colleges, campuses, or large -scale education programs.

â Strong people leadership experience with demonstrated ownership of outcomes.

â Strong stakeholder management skills with experience engaging senior institutional stakeholders.

â Data -driven mindset with strong analytical, communication, and problem -solving abilities.

â Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands -on execution.

â Should Have:

â Experience driving operational excellence, SOP implementation, and scalable education processes.

â Exposure to academic governance, examinations management, student engagement, and placement enablement.

â Ability to manage complex stakeholder conversations and navigate institutional partnerships effectively.

â Strong cross -functional collaboration skills across admissions, academics, marketing, and placements teams.

â Nice to Have:

â MBA / PGDM or equivalent postgraduate qualification.

â Experience working in high -growth education environments or EdTech ecosystems.

â Based in Mumbai or open to frequent travel across partner college locations.
