Job Description - Manager - Sales Analytics

EXL Service is hiring for Manager - Sales Analytics for Corporate Team - Noida Sec 144

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and data-driven Analytics professional to join our sales team. He/She will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting sales data to provide valuable insights and recommendations for optimizing our sales strategies and achieving revenue targets. This role plays a crucial part in helping us make informed decisions and drive our sales efforts. Must be an excellent communicator and comfortable working at CEO / Director Level (internal and external customer).

Roles & Responsibilities - Key Skills

  • Collect, consolidate, and clean sales data from various sources.
  • Analyze historical sales data and trends to identify patterns and opportunities for improvement.
  • Update Sales Forecasting model on regular basis
  • Generate regular sales reports and dashboards to provide real-time visibility into sales performance.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as revenue, win rates, sales pipeline and come with relevant actions.
  • Collaborate with sales front-end teams to develop data-driven sales strategies.
  • Assist in setting sales targets and goals based on data analysis for each function.
  • Boost productivity, efficiency, and the overall impact that the sales team has on business performance.
  • Respond to ad-hoc data requests from the sales and executive teams, providing insights to support decision-making

Education Requirements

  • Masters degree in business, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in Sales analytics or a similar analytical role.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, data visualization tools).
  • Proficient with MS Power point & MS Excel is a must.
  • Well versed with Power BI, Tableau and SFDC Dashboards

Experience

  • 8-11 Years of experience in Sales Analytics role
  • Excellent industry knowledge and a willingness to keep up with trends.
  • Proficient with Power BI, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel is a must.
  • Strong Analytical, Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent Communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently & collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
