Job Description - Manager - Sales (Road Freight)

What You Can Expect:

Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
Understand customer logistics requirements and propose suitable Road Freight solutions.
Prepare and present commercial proposals and negotiate pricing and terms with customers.
Achieve defined sales targets for revenue, volumes, and profitability.
Develop a strong sales pipeline and ensure regular follow-up with prospects.
Conduct market research to identify potential customers, market trends, and competitor activities.
Coordinate with Operations, Pricing, and other internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
Ensure timely resolution of customer queries and escalations.
Monitor customer profitability and identify opportunities for account growth and cross-selling.
Maintain accurate sales reports, customer data, and pipeline updates in the relevant systems.
Ensure adherence to company policies, pricing guidelines, and commercial processes.

What You Bring:

5–10 years of experience in Business Development/Sales within Road Freight, Transportation, Logistics, or Freight Forwarding.
Proven track record of new client acquisition and revenue generation.
Strong understanding of domestic road freight/FTL/LTL solutions.
Existing network of customers and industry contacts will be an advantage.
Strong negotiation, communication, presentation, and relationship-management skills.
Result-oriented with a strong focus on achieving sales targets.
