Manager SQE AD (M)

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

1. Monitoring, analysis & improvement of Aluminium casting rejection during machining


2. Analyse & resolve concerns related to Aluminium casting, machining at machining line, assembly line, user plant & field.


3. Monitor & close supplier part concerns by deploying adequate immediate & permanant actions at supplier end.


4. Monitor & improve supplier performance, improve stright pass ratio of supplier parts.


5. Drive collaboration with suppliers to improve their manufacturing processes and deploy processes , improvements, actions ,pokayokes, etc.


6. Plan supplier audits, monitor adherance of visits, closure of gaps observed, etc.


7. Monitor, check & ensure 100% PIST & PIPC adherance for ownership supplier parts.


8. Ensure that the lessons learned from product families are shared with the platform team (COE, CDMM etc.) for new product development as input for prevention of repeated known issues


9. Provide support and involvement in new product development, improvements through early involvement into product development Process and completion of joint PPAP with CDMM


10. Participation & Co ordination of concern resolution with Field, User plant and in-house for critical parts


11. Monitor supplier performance measurement, supplier audits and Supplier Corrective Action Request (SCAR),  etc.


12. Develop and ensure implementation of  process norms for management of suppliers by Verification of products and services from the suppliers.


13. Evaluation of performance of suppliers and monitor the improvement plans. 


14. Enhance technical capabilities of vendor through systems and knowledge upgradations


15. Review, Analyze and implement results of quality audits at supplier end
