Manager - Transformation KGS CH

The position is with the Transformation team at KGS, which partners closely with global KPMG member firms to drive large‑scale transformation initiatives.

This role will focus on continuous improvement, technology‑enabled transformation and automation, leveraging Microsoft 365 platforms (PowerApps, Power BI, Power Automate) and custom scripting (Python) to deliver scalable, insight‑driven, and outcome‑oriented solutions—while continuing to foster a culture of continuous improvement

Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead technology‑enabled transformation and automation initiatives, working closely with KGS leadership and global KPMG member firms.

• Design and deliver automation and digital solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps, Power BI, Power Automate) and Python‑based scripting to improve efficiency, transparency, and decision‑making.

• Identify and implement process improvement and automation opportunities, combining Lean / Ops excellence principles with low‑code, no‑code, and custom‑code solutions.

• Develop end‑to‑end automation use cases—from problem identification and solution design to build, deployment, and measurable value realization.

• Build dashboards, analytical models, and performance insights using Power BI and other data analysis tools to support leadership decision‑making.

• Collaborate with business, technology, and transformation stakeholders across geographies to design scalable and reusable digital assets.

• Support target operating model assessments and design, with a strong focus on digital enablement and automation‑first approaches.

• Ensure automation solutions are well‑governed, documented, and production‑ready, meeting security and quality standards.

• Prepare solution designs, business cases, automation roadmaps, and executive‑ready deliverables.

• Facilitate workshops to identify automation opportunities and articulate value propositions to stakeholders.

• Contribute to building automation capability and awareness across teams through knowledge sharing and enablement sessions.

Education background

1. Required:

• Graduate / Engineering background (REC/NIT/IIT etc.)

• MBA from top tier college

• Trained / Certified Six Sigma Black Belt

1. Desirable:

   • Certifications aligned to Power Platform, Data Analytics, Intelligent Automation, or AI
     • PMP certified / PRINCE2 Practitioner

Mandatory Skills

• 10+ years of overall experience, with at least 4–5 years driving automation led or digital transformation initiatives in large global organizations or consulting environments. 

• Hands on experience in building solutions using: 

  • Microsoft PowerApps
  • Power BI
  • Power Automate
  • Python (for data processing, automation, or custom solution development)

• Strong experience in automation use case identification, solution design, and implementation. 

• Ability to combine process thinking with technology solutioning to deliver measurable business value. 

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data and processes into actionable insights. 

• Experience working with onshore and offshore stakeholders across multiple levels, including senior leadership. 

• Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives/workstreams in parallel. 

• Business oriented mindset with the ability to identify and articulate value creation opportunities.

• Excellent Project management skills including ability to manage multiple workstreams/ projects at the same time.

Preferred Skills

• Strong communication and storytelling skills—especially for senior stakeholders.

• Experience working in enterprise environments with governance and scale considerations.

• Exposure to AI‑enabled automation, advanced analytics, or intelligent decision support (desirable).

• Strong execution discipline with a solution‑oriented mindset
