The individual will contribute to incident resolution, performance analysis, configuration activities, software lifecycle management, and collaboration with cross\u2011functional teams and external partners. This role is well\u2011suited for those who thrive in dynamic operational environments and are committed to continuous improvement.\n\n## What you\u2019ll do\n\n### Core Network Support\n\n * Support IMS network elements including Ericsson MTAS, CSCF, HSS, IPWorks, MSC, MGW, SBC, and STP.\n * Maintain service availability, performance, and compliance with operational processes.\n * Participate in 24x7 on\u2011call rotation for proactive and reactive support.\n * Assist in service introduction and handle supplier engagement.\n\n\n\n### Incident \u0026 Problem Management\n\n * Respond promptly to service degradations and major incidents.\n * Perform root cause analysis and workarounds to minimise service disruption.\n * Collaborate across teams to ensure timely resolution.\n\n\n\n### Performance \u0026 Availability Management\n\n * Act as system owner, overseeing platform support.\n * Monitor KPIs, analyse performance trends, and support improvement forums.\n * Review network changes to safeguard service integrity.\n\n\n\n### Proactive Service Assurance\n\n * Carry out regular health checks and KPI monitoring.\n * Conduct resilience and failure analysis.\n * Engage with vendors for continual improvement initiatives.\n\n\n\n### Network Configuration Work\n\n * Perform fraud barring for A and B numbers.\n * Configure new number ranges on the Vodafone network.\n * Support isolation of nodes from MSC for other teams.\n\n\n\n### Supplier \u0026 Third\u2011Party Management\n\n * Support vendor issue resolution and track SLAs.\n * Participate in compliance audits.\n\n\n\n### Change Management \u0026 New Service Introduction\n\n * Ensure changes are implemented safely and efficiently.\n * Follow testing, documentation, and governance protocols.\n\n\n\n### Software Rollout (LCM)\n\n * Load new software in lab environments, progressing to live deployment post\u2011testing.\n\n\n\n### Knowledge Sharing \u0026 Training\n\n * Facilitate knowledge transfer within the team and wider organisation.\n * Provide guidance to less experienced colleagues and frontline teams.\n * Maintain clear stakeholder communication.\n\n\n\n## Who you are\n\nStrong understanding of IMS architecture (CSCF, MTAS, HSS, SBC) and CS Core nodes (MSC, MGW).Skilled in telecom protocols such as SIP, Diameter, SS7, SIGTRAN.Experienced in VoLTE/VoNR call flows and IMS registration.Familiar with virtualisation platforms (VMware, OpenStack) and Linux systems.Capable of troubleshooting using tools and scripting (Python/Bash preferred).Comfortable working in high\u2011pressure, 24x7 operational environments.Effective communicator with strong collaboration abilities.Adaptable to emerging technologies including NFV, SDN, and Cloud IMS.Holds a Bachelor\u2019s degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, or Computer Engineering.Possesses 8\u201312 years of experience in IMS and CS Core operations, ideally across multi\u2011vendor environments.Certifications such as CCNA/CCNP are preferred.\n\n## Not a perfect fit?\n\nConcerned you may not meet every requirement?
