Manual Database Tester

We are seeking a Manual Database Tester or ETL Tester with 4–6 years of experience and exposure to automation. This role is ideal for detail-oriented professionals with strong SQL skills and a passion for ensuring data accuracy and system reliability. Immediate joiners or candidates available by September 10 are highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing of databases, ETL pipelines, and data workflows.
  




• Write and execute complex SQL queries for data validation and integrity checks.
  




• Analyze logs, identify issues, and support defect resolution.
  




• Contribute to test automation scripts and framework enhancements (UI or backend).
  




• Collaborate with QA leads, developers, and business analysts to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  




• Document test cases, report defects, and track results using tools like JIRA or TestRail.
  

Key Skills & Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience in manual testing with a focus on database/ETL validation.
  




• Strong SQL skills for querying and validating large datasets.
  




• Exposure to test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, PyTest) is a plus.
  




• Experience with ETL/data warehouse testing.
  




• Familiarity with UI testing and scripting is an advantage.
  




• Understanding of Agile methodologies and working in cross-functional teams.
  




• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems preferred.
  




• Excellent analytical thinking and communication skills.
