Manual DB Tester

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Manual Database Tester with exposure to Test Automation, or an ETL Tester with experience in UI Automation to join our QA team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of software testing methodologies, experience in writing complex SQL queries, and working knowledge of automation frameworks. This is a high-priority role for immediate onboarding, and we are actively considering candidates available to join on or before September 10.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform manual testing of databases, data pipelines, and ETL workflows.
  




• Write and execute complex SQL queries for data validation and integrity checks.
  




• Analyze data issues, logs, and test results to ensure system reliability and performance.
  




• Contribute to automation scripts or framework enhancements, particularly in UI or backend testing.
  




• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA leads to understand requirements and test coverage.
  




• Document test cases, defects, and test results in test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
  

Required Skills:

• 3+ years of experience in Manual Testing with strong DB/SQL skills
  




• Exposure to any Automation Testing tool or framework (e.g., Selenium, PyTest, etc.)
  




• For ETL Testers: Hands-on experience with data warehouse testing and validation
  




• Familiarity with UI testing tools and scripting is a plus
  




• Strong analytical and communication skills
  

Preferred:

• Experience in Agile environments
  




• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems
