Job Description - Manual QA Gameplay

We are looking for a detail -oriented QA Tester to support quality assurance across our cross -platform game (PC and iOS). This role focuses on manual functional testing, gameplay validation, edge -case analysis, and performance verification to ensure a polished and stable player experience.

Job Type: Contractual, reviewed every 3 months, with a duration of up to 2 years
Location: Remote from India.
Work Time Zone: Thailand

Job Responsibilities:

Functional QA

â Review our checklist and expand coverage based on the Game Design Document and

feature set.

â Perform build verification on PC and selected iOS devices to confirm install, launch, login,

and access to core gameplay.

â Execute structured gameplay passes targeting new, updated, and high -risk features.

â Validate progression using multiple save states representing different stages of the game.

â Verify UI navigation, gameplay interactions, input behaviour, and resolution handling

across platforms.

Edge -Case and Scenario Validation

â Test suspend and resume behaviour on iOS devices.

â Switch languages during active gameplay to confirm stability and UI consistency.

â Modify settings during gameplay sessions to validate real -time system responses.

â Simulate network interruptions to evaluate cross -platform saving reliability.

Performance and Stability Testing

â Run predefined gameplay scenarios to assess frame pacing, responsiveness, and

gameplay smoothness.

â Monitor loading transitions and save/load actions for delays or freezes.

â Track memory usage trends during extended play sessions using standard platform tools.

â Perform long -duration gameplay to identify crashes, overheating, or performance drops.

â Compare behavior across builds to detect regressions or improvements.

Online Cross -Platform Save Validation

â Test cloud save creation and synchronization between PC and iOS platforms.

â Verify account linking and save consistency across devices.

â Simulate reconnection scenarios and partial sync failures during gameplay sessions.

â Confirm stability of online saving during long play sessions and gameplay interruptions

Requirements

4+ years of experience in manual QA testing (game testing preferred).

Experience testing on iOS devices and PC builds.

Strong understanding of functional and regression testing principles.

Ability to write clear, concise bug reports with reproduction steps.

Familiarity with test case management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, similar).

Strong attention to detail and problem -solving skills.

Excellent English communication skills (Verbal and Writing)

Bachelor's degree in IT or Computer Engineering only.
