This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Manual Quality Assurance Engineer, SIMBA Team based in India.
You will join a fast-growing product team building cutting-edge AI voice agent technology that enables natural, human-like conversations across multiple languages and real-world use cases. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the reliability, usability, and consistency of a high-performance voice platform used in production environments at scale. You will be deeply involved in validating end-to-end user journeys, identifying edge cases, and ensuring seamless product behavior across web and device environments. Working closely with engineering, product, and support teams, you will help shape product quality from early development through release. This is a highly collaborative role where attention to detail, curiosity, and strong testing instincts directly impact user experience. You will contribute to a fast-paced environment where iteration speed is high and quality standards are even higher.
Accountabilities:
- Design, develop, and execute detailed manual test plans and test cases covering functional, regression, exploratory, and edge-case scenarios for web-based applications.
- Perform hands-on manual testing across multiple browsers and devices to validate features, bug fixes, and product releases for stability and usability.
- Identify, reproduce, isolate, and document defects with clear, structured reporting including steps to reproduce, expected vs actual results, and supporting evidence.
- Maintain and continuously improve QA documentation, including test cases, regression suites, test reports, and release validation summaries.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and customer support teams to ensure proper triage, prioritization, and resolution of issues based on user impact.
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, grooming, and retrospectives to ensure QA is embedded throughout the development lifecycle.
- Execute regression testing and release validation cycles to ensure product quality, reliability, and readiness for production deployment.
- Continuously improve QA processes, test coverage, and communication workflows to enhance overall product quality and delivery efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in manual QA, with strong focus on testing web applications in Agile environments.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies including test planning, test case design, exploratory testing, regression testing, and structured bug reporting.
- Experience working cross-functionally with engineering and product teams in fast-paced development environments.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to isolate issues and communicate findings clearly and precisely.
- Excellent written communication skills for documenting defects, test results, and release validation reports.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Linear, or similar platforms.
- Experience using browser developer tools for debugging, issue reproduction, and validation.
- Nice to have: experience with accessibility testing (WCAG guidelines), API testing tools like Postman, exposure to test automation concepts, or familiarity with voice/text-to-speech products.
