Job Description - Manual Software QA

Job Summary:

As a Manual QA Test Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through thorough testing and validation. You will work closely with the development team to understand product requirements and create test plans, execute test cases, and report issues. Your expertise in manual testing methodologies and strong analytical skills will be crucial in ensuring the delivery of high -quality software.

Requirements

Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to test software applications thoroughly and systems
Identify, document, and track software defects and issues using bug tracking systems
Collaborate with the development team to understand product requirements and provide input on test ability and usability aspects during the design phase
Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to ensure software meets quality standards
Conduct manual exploratory testing to uncover any potential issues that may have been missed during structured testing
Develop and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test data
Work closely with cross -functional teams to resolve any issues and ensure timely delivery of high -quality software
Participate in product and feature reviews to provide feedback on quality -related aspects
Stay up -to -date with industry trends and best practices in manual testing methodologies, tools, and technologies
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the QA process and promote best practices within the team
Working knowledge of JIRA or other relevant testing tools is must

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
Proven experience as a Manual QA Test Engineer or in a similar role
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes
Proficient in creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts
Experience with bug tracking systems and test management tools
Solid knowledge of functional, regression, integration, and performance testing
Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross -functional teams
Excellent analytical and problem -solving skills
Detail -oriented with strong organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast -paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously
