Manual Test Engineer

Job Description:
We are looking for a Manual Test Engineer with 2–5 years of experience in software testing. The candidate must have strong experience in manual testing along with at least 1+ year of hands-on experience in API testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform manual testing of applications including functional and regression testing.


• Create and execute test cases and test scenarios based on requirements.


• Identify, report, and track defects using defect management tools.


• Perform API testing using tools like Postman or similar.


• Collaborate with development and product teams to ensure product quality.

Mandatory Requirements:

• 2–5 years of experience in Manual Testing.


• Minimum 1+ year of hands-on experience in API Testing is mandatory.


• Candidates without practical API testing experience will not be considered.


• If a candidate has only theoretical knowledge of API testing, the profile must be reviewed and approved by the hiring manager before scheduling an interview.

Required Skills:

  • Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Bug Life Cycle.
  
  
  • Good to have in Manual mobile testing experience.
  
  
  • Experience in writing test cases, test scenarios, and test reports.
  
  
  • Hands-on experience with API testing tools (Postman, Swagger, etc.).
  
  
  • Good knowledge of HTTP methods, request/response validation, and status codes.
  
  
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  
  
  • Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
