Position summary:
Leads manufacturing activities resulting in faster new product development
and productivity improvement of the existing parts. Provides an opportunity to
introduce and implement best manufacturing practices aligning Industrial
4.0/5.0 practices benefit ting self and organization in Global market. Empowered
to represent company with customers in both domestic and international markets,
makes decisions to execute strategy.

Requirements
Roles and Delieverables:
Feasibility and Work Allocation
• Evaluate processes by conducting manufacturing feasibility study and distribute work to in -house operations and to suppliers
• Assess and estimate operational resources ensuring the readiness attaining deliverables – Man, Material, Machine and Measurement
• Lead cross functional teams with a common a goal operating the plant per systems established – QMS and EHS
Sourcing and Project Management
• Identify and develop capable supplier base to support additional manufacturing needs
• Drive projects team attaining deliverables of supply bases – Responsiveness, Quality, Delivery
Build and Manage Team
• Liasson with recruitment team and hire potential workforce
• Lead and mentor the team to achieve their deliverables and enrich their skill set
• Conduct regular performance review and implement individual development plans
Reporting and Budgeting
• Prepare and present report per cadence – Planned Vs Achieved, On time delivery, Quality, Compliance etc.
• Budgeting for capacity expansion considering latest equipment/technologies aligning Industry 4.0/5.0 to meet increasing production trend with shorter lead time
• Identify cost saving opportunities that reduce departmental expenses

Education and experience
• Diploma (Polytechnic/NTTF/GTTC) or BE/B Tech in Mechanical with 8 -10 years’ experience in sheet metal fabrication, preferred are from Marine/Aerospace industry or low batch production environment
• Minimum 5 -6 years of Proficiency with Fiber Lasers, Press Brakes and MIG/TIG/SAW welding, AWS Procedures is must
• Proficient in Computer skills in MS Office and analytical applications
• Experience in effective usage of data analysis, tools and statistical analysis
