Manufacturing Manager -Power Distribution

What you’ll do:

Short Overview

• Role: Lead plant operations for PD products (Bussmann, MV, LV, CPC products).
• Responsibility: Deliver operational metrics, support sales team to achieve top-line targets, support $83M revenue in PD products.

Primary Function

• Continuous Improvement: Drive a continuous improvement culture in the PD segment using EBS tools.
• Teamwork: Foster teamwork across functions, focusing on plant goals and revenue targets.
• Performance Review: Regularly review performance and implement action plans to meet targets.

Responsibilities

• Revenue Support: Help the sales team achieve monthly revenue targets by ensuring timely product delivery.
• CI Culture: Upgrade plant performance continuously.
• Customer Requirements: Ensure daily delivery requirements and maintain world-class OTD standards.
• LEAN Lines: Set up LEAN lines for localization and NPI products.
• Safety: Drive ZISC with safety department support.
• Capacity Planning: Plan for future demands and CAPEX.
• Cost Efficiency: Support ELSS cost-out through productivity projects.
• Industrial Harmony: Maintain harmony through trust and transparency.
• Leadership Development: Coach and train LOPs for team management.
• Industry 4.0: Drive Industry 4.0 initiatives for the PD line.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education: B.E.
• Experience: Minimum 20 years.
• Skills: Product knowledge in electrical products assembly, leadership, LEAN, project management, knowledge of Factories Act, Industry 4.0 knowledge, basic understanding of Tamil language.
