Job Overview:

The Market Making Specialist will play a crucial role in the setup, onboarding, monitoring, and maintenance of our market making operations. While our Business Development (BD) team establishes deals and market making relationships, we need a proactive professional who can ensure the successful implementation and ongoing efficiency of these initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Market Making Setup:
• Develop and implement market making strategies for various cryptocurrency pairs.
• Configure and optimize trading algorithms and systems for market making activities.
• Coordinate with the technical team to ensure seamless integration of market making tools.
  
  
2. Onboarding:
• Collaborate with the BD team to onboard new market making clients and partners.
• Provide technical support and guidance during the onboarding process.
• Ensure all systems and protocols are in place for new market making activities.
  
  
3. Monitoring and Maintenance:
• Continuously monitor market conditions and adjust strategies to maintain optimal performance.
• Perform regular maintenance and updates on market making systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise in real-time to ensure uninterrupted operations.
  
  
4. Collaboration and Communication:
• Work closely with internal teams, including BD, technical, and compliance, to align market making efforts with overall business goals.
• Communicate effectively with external partners to maintain strong working relationships.
• Provide regular updates and reports on market making performance to senior management.

• Experience:
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in market making, preferably with reputable firms such as CLS, Wintermute, Jump Trading, etc.
• Proven track record in setting up and managing market making operations in the cryptocurrency or financial markets.
  
  
• Technical Skills:
• Strong knowledge of market making algorithms, trading systems, and market dynamics.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java is a plus.
• Familiarity with cryptocurrency trading platforms and blockchain technology.
