This role sits within commercial and institutional banking and focuses on supporting the money market settlements function. The responsibility includes ensuring the accurate and timely settlement of money market deposits and loans, while providing operational support to sales and relationship management teams and delivering an exceptional client experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of end-to-end settlement processes for money market trades, ensuring timely execution in accordance with currency cut-offs and client requirements.
• Manage outgoing settlements related to deposits, loans, and related transactions while maintaining high levels of accuracy.
• Handle and resolve client queries promptly, coordinating with front office, sales, and relationship management teams where necessary.
• Support and execute manual processes associated with the settlement lifecycle, including monthly interest payments.
• Monitor settlement exceptions and proactively identify and resolve issues to achieve accurate outcomes.
• Facilitate reconciliation and confirmation of trades to ensure alignment with operational and regulatory standards.
• Escalate unclear requirements or discrepancies and work with internal stakeholders to determine the correct actions.

Skills & Experience

• Strong understanding of money market products and financial instruments.
• Experience in financial transaction processing or reconciliations.
• Familiarity with trade onboarding, confirmation, and settlement processes.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
