Role: Deputy General Manager, Marketing – NIIT India, Gurgaon
Description
The Deputy General Manager, Marketing will be an integral member of our global marketing team. The position is based in India at our Gurgaon office and will report to the Vice President of Global Marketing based in the United States. The profile requires the person to manage the India marketing team and work in a fast-paced, globally distributed, and diverse environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategically manage B2B demand and lead generation campaigns across channels to meet pipeline goals.
Develop targeted, account-based marketing campaigns - driving high quality marketing qualified leads through effective messaging
Detailed, timely and accurate execution of campaigns to identified audiences and databases
Define and manage the integrated campaign calendar and work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure timely execution of all deliverables
Track results against goals (MQL, SAL, SQL) and measure campaign effectiveness and optimize messaging, channels and spend accordingly
Build relationships and work closely with internal teams to understand the market and core offerings of NIIT
Manage a team of campaign, performance marketing, and content specialists.
Collaborate with sales team to deliver targeted campaigns
Key Skills and Qualifications
At least 8-12 years of core marketing experience.
Thorough knowledge and experience of platforms like HubSpot, Marketo or Eloqua and the ability to work and execute campaigns independently on these platforms.
Strong writing skills and the ability to intelligently craft content and effective messaging in real-time. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience building and managing result-oriented campaigns for marketing. Prior experience in a B2B learning outsourcing company will be a big plus.
Ability to understand the market and target audience with prior knowledge of Account Based Marketing
Proficiency in Digital Marketing and Digital Marketing Technology and Analytics. Strong technical understanding of digital marketing which enables the individual to manage teams. Strong knowledge of SEO, SEM and Google analytics will be given preference.
Strong knowledge of building website landing pages and implementing web analytics. Experience using and editing HTML5 will be an added plus.
Ability to work with a designer to create content for multiple channels – short videos, slideshows, blogs, snapshots for the website, blogs, email campaigns and social media channels
Active on social media - Proficient in social media campaigns including Twitter, Linked In, and Facebook.
Ability to multi-task and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Discipline and Commitment to deliver excellent quality based on international marketing standards.
Strong project and campaign management skills.
Experience in market research and content curation and present into meaningful reports, articles, and blogs for internal and external project communications
Excellent reporting and tracking skills
Disciplined approach to managing teams and charting a growth path for the team.
Exceptional relationship skills
Education
A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communication or other related field or equivalent experience. An MBA is preferred but relevant work experience will be given a higher preference.
