Marketing Executive

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Business Development: Identify and acquire new customers domestic and globally to achieve sales targets.


• Lead Generation: Generate business leads through field visits, cold calling, customer references, industry networks, exhibitions, and other marketing activities.


• Product Promotion: Promote  plastic packaging products and understand customer requirements to offer suitable packaging solutions.


• Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers to ensure repeat business and long-term growth.


• Sales and Order Conversion: Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms within approved limits, follow up on enquiries, and convert prospects into confirmed orders.


• Market Research: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing, and emerging customer requirements to identify new business opportunities.


• Order Coordination: Coordinate with Production, Quality, PPC, Dispatch, and Accounts to ensure timely order execution and customer satisfaction.


• Payment Follow-up: Coordinate with customers and the Accounts Department for timely collection of outstanding payments and adherence to approved credit terms.


• Sales Reporting: Maintain customer databases, field visit reports, sales forecasts, quotations, and periodic sales performance reports.


• Market Expansion: Conduct regular customer visits to expand the customer base and increase sales.

Candidate Profile:

• Qualification: Graduate in Marketing, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related discipline; MBA in Marketing is an added advantage.


• Experience: Preferably 3–5 years in sales, field marketing, or business development. Experience in plastic packaging, flexible packaging, or manufacturing is preferred.


• Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, customer acquisition, and sales conversion skills.
