About the Role
We are looking for a seasoned marketing professional to take complete ownership of our field.
Marketing team — someone who plans smart, drives discipline, and consistently pushes the team to
grow sales month on month. This is primarily an office -based leadership role. The person in this role
is expected to run operations from the branch, keep a close eye on every executive's field activity,
and step out into the market only when the situation genuinely demands senior presence.
The team of marketing executives is expected to be on the road 12 to 15 days every month. The
Marketing Head's job is to make sure that happens — with the right plan, the right customers, and
the right follow -through.
What the Role Involves
Team Leadership
• Take complete charge of the marketing team — planning, guiding, mentoring, and holding them
accountable for performance
• Motivate and push executives to consistently cover 12 to 15 field travel days every month
without fail
• Understand individual team dynamics and handle people situations with maturity, keeping both
the individual's interests and the organization's health in view
• Continuously challenge the team to outperform its own past records and drive a culture of
ownership
Field Planning & Execution
• Build monthly travel plans for each executive with well -thought -out routes and customer
priorities
• Maintain a real -time visit tracker — who visited whom, what happened, and what the next step is
• Push the team to identify and cover new cities that fall naturally within their existing travel
routes; track every new lead that emerges from this effort.
• Travel into the field personally for 7 to 10 days across the year when a market situation or key
customer requires senior presence
Customer Engagement
• On non -travel days, ensure executives stay actively in touch with customers through structured
calls and WhatsApp — no gaps in relationship continuity
• Build and maintain clean, structured data for every executive's customer portfolio
Order & Dispatch Management
• Track every order — whether it comes in through a visit, a call, or a WhatsApp message — and
ensure it moves to dispatch without delay
• Coordinate with internal teams to remove any bottlenecks in the fulfillment chain
Expense & Budget Oversight
• Review team expense claims regularly and ensure spends are rational and within approved
budgets
• Course -correct early when expense trends start drifting
Requirements
What We Are Looking For
• 8 to 12 years in field sales or marketing, with at least 3 to 4 years leading a team
• Strong grounding in B2B or product -based industries; manufacturing or industrial background
preferred
• Comfortable with CRM tools, Google Sheets or Excel, and WhatsApp Business
• A natural motivator who can read people well and keep a team moving in the right direction
• Graduate in Business or Marketing; MBA is an advantage
• Comfortable with occasional travel (7–10 days a year) when business demands it
