Resident Medical Officer (ICU & Emergency) — Clinical Acute Care, Hospital Sector


We operate in the hospital & acute-care healthcare sector, delivering 24/7 critical and emergency medical services across multidisciplinary settings. This on-site clinical role supports high-acuity patient care in ICU and Emergency Department environments and contributes to rapid, evidence-based decision-making and patient stabilization.


Role & Responsibilities



  • Provide direct clinical care to critically ill and emergency patients—conduct assessment, resuscitation, and stabilization at triage and in ICU.

  • Perform emergency procedures including endotracheal intubation, central venous and arterial line insertions, and safe ventilator initiation and adjustments.

  • Lead initial sepsis management, acute cardiac care, and trauma resuscitation following established protocols and escalation pathways.

  • Use point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) and ECG interpretation to inform rapid bedside decision-making and diagnostic plans.

  • Document clinical findings, treatment plans, and handovers accurately in the hospital information system; communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

  • Participate in shift-based on-call rosters, rapid response teams, and continuous quality improvement activities focused on patient safety.


Skills & Qualifications


Must-Have



  • MBBS degree with valid Indian medical registration

  • Proven clinical exposure to ICU and Emergency Department patient care

  • Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)

  • Hands-on competency in ventilator management and emergency airway procedures

  • Experience using point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) and ECG interpretation in acute settings


Preferred



  • Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certification

  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) or pediatric advanced life support exposure

  • Familiarity with Hospital Information Systems and electronic clinical documentation
