This role involves driving cutting-edge solutions in DRAM testing, failure analysis, and AI/ML-based pattern recognition to improve memory yield and reliability across high-volume manufacturing environments.\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\n\n\u2022 Bachelor\u0027s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 6+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience. \nOR \nMaster\u0027s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 5+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience. \nOR \nPhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\n\n * Experience in developing diagnostic tools for emerging memory technologies.\n\n * Exposure to data analytics platforms for large-scale failure analysis.\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s or Master\u2019s degree in Electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.\n\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n * 8+ years of experience in memory diagnostics, DRAM test, and failure analysis in advanced SoC environments.\n\n * Deep understanding of fault isolation, redundancy schemes, fault models and memory test algorithms.\n\n * Experience with AI/ML techniques applied to pattern recognition or data analytics in semiconductor test or yield domains.\n\n * Proficiency in Python, Perl, TCL and data visualization tools.\n\n * Experience with HTOL, RMA debug, and high-volume manufacturing diagnostics.\n\n * Knowledge of memory redundancy, error correction, and self-repair mechanisms.\n\n * Knowledge of implementation of MBIST solutions using industry-standard tools (e.g., Mentor Tessent, Synopsys etc).\n\n * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.\n\n * Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a cross-functional, global environment\n\n\n\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * Develop and enhance memory diagnostic methodologies including DRAM-specific diagnostics.\n\n * Define and develop memory test and repair algorithms (BIRA, ECC, redundancy analysis)\n\n * Isolate failing memory locations and analyze failure signatures to support yield improvement, RMA, and HTOL debug.\n\n * Evaluate and improve memory yield through data analysis and test coverage enhancements.\n\n * Design and implement AI/ML-based pattern recognition tools to enable advanced bitmapping and failure characterization beyond the capabilities of current tools.\n\n * Collaborate with silicon validation, product engineering, and yield analysis teams to correlate diagnostics with silicon behavior.\n\n * Drive innovation in diagnostic algorithms and tool development to support future technology nodes and memory architectures.\n\n * Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and cross-functional partners\n\n\n\n\nApplicants: Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
