Purpose
of role: To Assist the test & Integration engineers in team.
Responsibilities:
1. Generate 3D models of the components, assemblies, tooling & fixtures.
2. Create 2D manufacturing drawings from 3D CAD models along with Bill of Materials.
3. Ensure the release of the manufacturing drawings with GD&T as per aerospace standards.
4. Interaction with design, manufacturing, integration and quality teams to ensure the design meets all requirements.
5. Supports product sourcing, purchasing and selection as required by the design process.
6. Provides technical and engineering support for day -to -day processing, product development and process improvements.
7. Confirms system and product capabilities by designing feasibility and testing methods and properties.
8. Develops manufacturing processes by designing and modifying equipment for fabricating, building, assembling and installing components.
Technical
Skills:
1. Strong knowledge of CAD modelling, drawings and machine design with experience in design analyses Experience with SolidWorks, Auto Cad & Creo.
2. Strong knowledge on GD&T.
3. Good understanding of manufacturing processes including turning, milling and welding. Experience with CAM software is a plus ·
4. Willingness to take on non -traditional tasks, roles, responsibilities and challenges needed to accomplish company goals and objectives.

Skills:
1. Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to write design reports, test plans and deliver design presentations.
2. Passion for space exploration and firm belief in delivering affordable access to space.

Qualification:
1. Bachelor of Science or
Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering · (2 -3 years’ experience)
