Mechanical CAD Engineer

Position: Mechanical CAD Engineer

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Automotive, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.

Role Summary:
Responsible for designing and developing mechanical components and assemblies for automotive systems using CAD tools, supporting prototype development, manufacturing, testing, and product improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design mechanical parts, assemblies, and vehicle components


• Create 3D models, 2D drawings, layouts, and manufacturing drawings using CAD tools (Creo preferred)


• Prepare BOMs and engineering documentation


• Perform basic engineering calculations, tolerance analysis, and packaging studies


• Apply GD&T, DFM, DFA, and engineering design practices


• Select materials, fasteners, and mechanical components


• Support prototype development, testing, troubleshooting, and design validation


• Coordinate with manufacturing, quality, electrical, procurement teams, and suppliers


• Maintain engineering changes and revision-controlled drawings
