Mechanical Draftsman

1. Drafting and Design:
o Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings for the structural components of
boilers, including pressure and non-pressure parts, using CAD software
(e.g., AutoCAD, ZWCAD, CAD Worx).
o Develop layout, assembly, and detailed drawings for fabrication and
construction purposes.
o Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards and project
specifications.
2. Collaboration:
o Work closely with engineers, project managers, and other team
members to understand project requirements and constraints.
o Coordinate with other departments to ensure integration of structural
components with other systems.
3. Quality Assurance:
o Review and check drawings for accuracy, completeness, and
compliance with relevant standards and codes.
o Make revisions and updates to drawings based on feedback and changes
in project scope.
4. Documentation:
o Maintain organized records of all drawings and project documentation.
o Prepare bills of materials (BOM) and other necessary documentation for
procurement and fabrication.
5. Technical Support:

o Provide technical support during the manufacturing, installation, and
commissioning phases.
o Assist in resolving any design-related issues that arise during the project
lifecycle.
