Support the full life cycle of mechanical and electro-mechanical systems from concept to productization including conceptualization, designing, CAD modeling, development, and test/validation. Designs components using variety of metals, ceramics, quartz, plastics, and advanced coatings. Ensure documentation aligns with SEMI, Lam standards, and industry best practices for geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD\u0026T). Conduct detailed analysis including structural, finite element analysis (FEA), thermal, heat transfer, stress, vibrations, fluid and gas flow dynamics, and manufacturability to properly specify designs. Develop and conduct feasibility studies and test plans to characterize and validate design performance. Prepare high-quality reports and technical presentations to clearly communicate design intent, evaluation, and validation to a diverse audience in design reviews. Collaborate with internal teams to for procurement and assembly of components and equipment. Hands-on experimental and design background coupled with solid engineering fundamentals. Excellent communication and technical presentation skills. Proficient in concept design and development of medium complex Electro mechanical components/simple sub-system. Aptitude to solve mechanical engineering problems using analytical calculations/prototype/testing/computational modeling tools. Effective in solving Structural or flow or Thermal problems to arrive at design decisions. Apply basic GD\u0026T and Perform Tolerance Stack up analysis Prepare cost estimates on parts \u0026 assemblies adopting DFx methodologies Experience in Structured problem solving tools to arrive at root cause and solution paths. Proficient in translating design requirements into parameters for OEM component selection Good knowledge on basic fabrication techniques - Machining, sheet-metal, welding and Plastics. In-depth usage of FMEA, inspecting components and performing component failure analysis. Excellent communication, both written and verbal, and technical presentation skills. Experience in Semiconductor industry is a plus. Experience in project management Exposure working with suppliers, Manufacturing Floor and assembly line troubleshooting
