Position: Mechanical
Sourcing Engineer

Job Description:

The Mechanical Sourcing Engineer will be responsible for
the identification, development, and management of suppliers for mechanical
components. The candidate will play a key role in ensuring cost -effective
procurement, timely delivery, and quality assurance of mechanical parts and
assemblies.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Mechanical Component
   Development & Sourcing
   
• Identify, develop, and
  qualify vendors for mechanical components.
  
• Collaborate with design
  and production teams for component feasibility and manufacturability.
  
2. Commodity Expertise
   
• Experience with Sheet
  Metal, Plastic Parts, Rubber Components, Fasteners, and Labels.
  
• Perform cost analysis
  and estimation for these commodities.
  
3. Costing &
   Negotiation
   
• Conduct supplier cost
  breakdown analysis.
  
• Lead cost
  negotiations and finalize pricing with suppliers to achieve target
  cost objectives.
  
4. Tooling & Mold
   Development
   
• Manage development of tools,
  dies, and molds, including cost evaluation and supplier coordination.
  
5. Vendor Development &
   Management
   
• Identify vendors for
  special processes and ensure supplier capability and capacity.
  
• Maintain supplier
  performance metrics and continuous improvement initiatives.
  
6. Compliance &
   Standards
   
• Ensure adherence to
  international standards (ISO / AS) related to supply chain and
  sourcing.
  
7. Procurement Process
   & Delivery
   
• Execute purchasing
  processes and follow up with suppliers to ensure on -time availability of components for production.
  
8. Communication &
   Leadership
   
• Demonstrate excellent communication,
  negotiation, and leadership skills for effective supplier management
  and cross -functional collaboration.
