Media Insights Analyst

About the Role:

You will be a member of a team providing media analysis services for global brands. This role entails the analysis of published media content for entity mentions, topics, and themes relevant to Onclusive’s global enterprise client base. 

Your responsibilities:

Your main responsibility will be to analyse news content in the English language. You will review media content and then apply tagging and coding to systematically categorize and label each item according to predefined guidelines. There will also be an element of ‘curation’ work involved, checking news articles that have been analysed via automated means, ensuring these are correct, and providing feedback where there are errors. 

        Analysis of news content

• Analyze news content by cross-referencing it with a client-specific analytics brief
  Each brief includes predefined criteria and categorization guidelines tailored to the project
  Criteria may include Sentiment, Spokespeople ,Competitors ,Topics, Key messag.es Use Onclusive’s in-house data analysis apps to perform the analysis


• Ensure accuracy and consistency while strictly following predefined guidelines


• For certain projects, write English summaries that provide an overview of the analyzed news stories over a defined period
  
  Service standards and improvement


• You will ensure timely delivery against project deadlines, working closely with your Team Leader and communicating any issues that arise.
  
  Communication 


• You will maintain effective and frequent communication with the media analysis team and other stakeholders to ensure issues are addressed promptly.


• Work with colleagues within your team to ensure consistency of analysis.

        Record keeping 

• Keep accurate records of work completed and errors logged.


• Update records as required on CRM/project management software.

Who you are:

• 0–1 years of experience


• Excellent oral and written English


• Knowledge of other main European languages is an advantage


• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint


• Ability to learn new software packages, including Onclusive’s in-house data analysis apps


• Comfortable communicating across multiple online platforms (e.g., email, Microsoft Teams, project management tools)


• Proven interest in media culture and understanding of the global corporate news agenda


• Strong ability to plan and manage own workload independently to meet deadlines


• Willingness and flexibility to work shifts as defined by Team Management
